Fight-Worthy Broccoli-Chicken Casserole

Here's a recipe for Broccoli-Chicken casserole that I got from a lady at church. Considering how fast it goes at our many potlucks, it's a huge hit!

1 hungry husband
2.5 hungry kids
8 chicken breasts, uncooked
2 packages of frozen broccoli (or an equal amount of fresh if you prefer)
1 can Cream of Chicken soup
3 cups grated cheese
1 cup sour cream
3 tbsp cooking sherry
Butter, melted, to taste
Sliced almonds, to taste
Garlic, to taste
Salt, to taste
Paprika, to taste
Preheat oven to 375° F.

Cook the broccoli until it is slightly tender and layer into the casserole dish along with the chicken. In a separate bowl, mix the Cream of Chicken soup, cheese, sherry and almonds. Pour over chicken, add the spices and drizzle lightly with butter. Bake for 30-45 minutes, allow to cool and watch the kids fight over who gets the first spoonful!
